**Full Job Description** The Applications Engineering team in the segment of the Middle East is responsible for supporting the sales of power electronics equipment for various oil&gas and industrial markets. Customers are typically oil-service companies, OEMs, EPSs, and dealers in industrial markets. The equipment we develop, manufacture, and service are primarily low - and medium-voltage drives, downhole sensors, and linear ESP. We are looking for a professional of power electronics or with knowledge in related areas, who knows the principles of operation of low, medium and high voltage equipment, has skills in setting up this equipment. A specialist in their field who would like to join us in the Middle East segment or would like to change careers in the booming field of power electronics. **Principle Duties & Responsibilities** The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing conceptual and front-end engineering as required, estimating, proposal development, and technical support for power electronics projects within the segment of the Middle East. Analyze customer and industry market expectations, analyze competitors' solutions, and form a "product-leader image" for the market. Present the "image" in RnD and control the implementation of the plan to improve the product. Analyze customer technical requests in detail and form a list of equipment that will solve the customer's request. Participate in and lead testing, testing, and initial customer implementations and commissioning. Diagnose problems with our or customer's equipment, troubleshoot problems together with the customer's specialists, and with the support of our R&D engineers. Position require domestic and international travel to support customer meetings. **Professional and career growth** The company pays a lot of attention to training inexperienced specialists. Work mostly from home, about 25-50% is work with customers, including at implementation sites. You can travel, make acquaintances and gain knowledge. The position may involve career advancement to the position of Business Development Manager. **Job Specifications** Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics from a four-year university; or two-year technical degree with additional 5 years of relevant experience. Able to solve problems and communicate persuasively. Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Previous Customer facing experience preferred. Ability to make decisions with limited information. Bilingual (English/Arabic). Computer proficiency is required. Able to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment.
