Done by Native is seeking an experienced Media Specialist to provide daily media summaries to an English-speaking audience.

The Media Specialist will translate material to and from Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Dialect Arabic, and English.

Location: Remote

**Requirements**:

- Near-perfect English verbal and written communication skills. Fluent idiomatic American English.
- Native speaker of the Egyptian Arabic dialect.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or other relevant fields.
- Must be a proficient user of Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Egyptian politics and U.S. Foreign Policy in Egypt.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Egyptian print and broadcast news sources.
- Arabic to English translation experience.
- Computer and social media skills.
- Three or more years of experience as a media specialist or researcher.
- Skilled in organizing tasks to meet regular deadlines.
- Applicants must be willing to work the night shift (Cairo time)
