- **Why do we need this role?**

Due to the enterprise significance and complexity of Integration, a high performing, easily consumable, reusable, decoupled, Information model driven, value-driven integration service design is crucial. The designed services are owned but accountability of right design lies with Integration architect. Integration architect provides the blueprint for integration solution from enterprise, solution, and design perspective to guide and govern the design and development.
- **What are the key responsibilities of this role?**:

- Create system integration blue prints with focus on enterprise service bus.
- Define/design actual interface/s using canonical models.
- Update and maintain APIs on self-service Internal developer portal.
- Maintain repository of business and technical services, errors definitions, data dictionary, consumer and target systems.
- Communicate with business owners, external and internal technical teams to lead service and API design that aligns with business requirements.
- Keep the design documents up to date and as the influencing factors change, communicate the same to key stakeholders.
- Take accountability, delivery plan and engages with the various teams in smooth transitioning of the designed/developed solution to production.
- Mentor developers and testers on best practices and design decisions.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk analysis to minimize risks of a change request or project.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Suggests innovative solutions to business problems/ processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.

- **What are the pre-requisites (mandatory / preferred) from this role?**

**Education**
- IT Bachelor degree, Master degree is preferred.

**Experience**
- 10+ years’ experiencein high performance and scalable solution design with integration platform NGIN-R and product like webMethods, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi,, or TIBCO etc out of which at least 6+ years should be in telecom domain Integration architecture design.
- 2+ years’ experience in digital transformation, data security, data protection and data governance are must.
- Strong experience in API management tools is preferred.

**Certification / Training**
- Certified SOA Architect
- Certification in WebMethods is preferred.
- Certified in Open API and Data model architect is preferred
- Agile Scrum fundamental certification
- Certification of DevOps or continuous integration and delivery is preferred

**Technical Skills**:

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a team, inspire and motivate others, while maintaining the teams’ business focus
- Strong experience inNGIN-R integration platform and in API gateway components and architecture (Apigee, WSO2, IBM API Connect, etc.) is must
- Experience in WM Broker, JMS, universal messaging and Kafka stream processor is must.
- Advance knowledge of telecommunications BSS domain and knowledge of TMforum framework is must.
- Strong experience in XML, JSON,XSD, XSLT, MQ &SOAP/REST services
- Strong experience in at least one of the Java, C++, C# programming languages and related technologies.
- Experience in implementing and designing SSL based security layer over services.
- Should have been involved in all the phases of Software Development Lifecycle and has experience with agile development/delivery methodologies
- Expertise in integration and messaging design patterns.
- Proficiency in database design using Oracle and NO-SQL databases
- Experience with Dev Ops tool chains and CI/CD
- Experience with agile development/delivery methodologies
- Proficient in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Solid understanding of the design patterns.
- Work within a Scrum / Agile framework
- Experience in biometric fingerprint technologies, Federated Identity Management (FIM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, & SAML is strongly preferred.
