**Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about research, data accuracy, and supporting the development of projects through meticulous data entry and analysis. The Research Associate will be responsible for developing a database or process for analysis of quantitative data using the methods employed in our previous studies and/or by developing new and more streamlined analysis methods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- _**Data Collection and Management**:_
- _Assist in designing and conducting experiments, surveys, or simulations._
- _Collect, organize, and maintain datasets in an efficient manner._
- _Ensure data integrity and quality control throughout the research process._
- _**Data Analysis**:_
- _Analyze complex datasets using statistical and computational tools._
- _Perform data cleaning, manipulation, and visualization._
- _Interpret data trends and produce reports, charts, and graphs to communicate findings._
- _**Literature Review and Documentation**:_
- _Conduct thorough literature reviews to support ongoing and new research projects._
- _Summarize findings and write research reports, manuscripts, or presentations._
- _Assist in drafting and editing research publications, grant proposals, and conference papers._
- _**Collaboration and Communication**:_
- _Work closely with team members, including principal investigators, graduate students, and other research assistants._
- _Present findings and progress at team meetings and contribute to discussions._
- _Stay up to date with advances in relevant research areas and programming techniques._

**Qualifications**

**Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology, Economics, or other research-intensive disciplines).

**Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ggplot2).
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL) and data management platforms.
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar

**Research Skills**:

- Strong understanding of research methodologies, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data collection methods such as surveys, experiments, or field studies.
- Ability to conduct literature reviews and synthesize academic papers.

**Communication Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise research summaries and technical documentation.
- Experience in preparing academic papers or research presentations is preferred.

**Organizational Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
