**Important responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (primary and secondary) on a variety of topics ranging from Press Reviews to Industry Reports to Market Studies, gathering information from relevant and qualified sources.
- Hands-on experience writing bespoke reports, viewpoints, whitepapers, Thought leadership, etc.
- Should understand macro-economic topics like the Labor market, Monetary/Fiscal policies, GDP, and its components, etc., and the ability to write opinions and viewpoints.
- Updated with current events in the industry and ability to identify key trends shaping.
- Display a profound understanding of the Research processes.
- Provide guidance to the team on high impact projects and clients.
- Effectively manage research requests intake, participate in scoping calls to clarify understanding, and prepare detailed scope documents.
- Confident in dealing with challenges and responding with rationale.
- Should have the flair to work across different domains of the global economic landscape with good business acumen.
- Should be able to bring an industry understanding of their client's organization which would include products, customer segments, competitive forces, and trends shaping the industry.
- Working knowledge of using sources like Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, Wall Street Journal, Statista, Oxford Economics, Factiva, Focus Economics, OECD, World Bank, IMF, Zawya, Eurostat, etc.
- Should be able to bring valuable insights to the deliverable and adhere to best delivery standards.

- Fluent in English and Arabic: Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
- Excellent communication, listening, and writing skills.
- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
- Strong project management skills.
- Possess a flexible & detail-oriented attitude.
- Drive to achieve task/objective under extreme time and delivery pressure.
- Eye for detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively and on time.
- Attitude to working as part of the team and quality-proofing work of junior team members.
- Prior experience in a market/ business research field is preferred.
- Research professional with a strong interest in the global economic domain.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree from a reputed university
