We are seeking a passionate and talented WordPress developer who can successfully handle multiple projects at a time.

**Should Have Advanced Knowledge Of**:

- HTML
- CSS
- Javascript
- PHP
- Schema markup
- .xml sitemap creation
- Robot.txt file creation
- Custom post types
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields and Gutenburg
- Child themes
- Elementor _**(a plus)**_
- Divi by Elegant themes _**(a major plus)**_
- Building custom plugins
- Ability to translate designs (Photoshop, Sketch, XD, Figma, etc) into responsive WordPress frontends
- Experience with the command line and SSH
- Bonus Points: Experience with WP Multisite

**Responsibilities**:

- Acting as a lead in building and helping maintain custom WordPress sites
- Keeping accountable to timelines, estimates, and project requirements
- Using documented user stories and technical requirements in your development work
- Reviewing code and providing feedback as needed
- Following and enforcing coding standards
- Communicating task estimates and progress
- Identifying potential problems and communicating with Project Managers/Producers on those issues
- Participating in client or team meetings as needed

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Associate degree or a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field relevant programming.
- Strong WordPress development work experience (minimum 2 yrs) including building custom sites from scratch.
- **Bonus Points**: Ability to show us your portfolio, client reviews, employer references, or walk us through the backend of something you built will help us a lot
