Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan the 178-room new build forms part of Phase II of Arkan Plaza. The Hotel is 10 minutes away from the “new” Grand Egyptian Museum and 15 minutes from the Great Pyramids of Giza. It is also in close proximity to Cairo International Airport and will be just 10 kilometers away from Sphinx International Airport. Business and leisure travelers can get the best of both worlds with three meeting rooms and a business center along with an outdoor pool and Club Lounge.

We are currently looking for a Hostess to join our amazing team at Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan

Your day-to-day
- Welcome guests to the venue.
- Notify the supervisor of any large parties.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
- Manage reservations.
- Inquire with the kitchen what the daily specials are for the shift.
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
- If a guest has any questions, it is your responsibility to answer them accurately. Therefore, know your product and price list.
- Greet customers upon their departure.
- Maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly).
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries.

What we need from you
- Previous work experience as a Hostess or Waiteress
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations
- Excellent customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Very good command of English
