Strategic Operations Lead

Our first market is Egypt, where we are regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt, with plans to expand further as we scale.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**: Lead and manage cross-functional projects that align with the company's strategic goals. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Work closely with operational leaders to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as a liaison between the COO and various internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives at partner banks, prospective partners, and regulatory bodies.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Utilize data analytics and the latest tech tools to inform business decisions and track the progress of ongoing projects.
- **Strategy Execution**: Assist the COO in executing strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across all teams involved in the projects.
- **Reporting & Presentations**: Prepare high-level reports and presentations for the COO and other C-level executives, summarizing project status, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly in the highly regulated fintech and financial services space.

- **Data-Driven**: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and outcomes. Familiarity with the latest tech tools and software for data analysis and project management.
- **Organizational Skills**: Exceptional organizational abilities, with a structured and methodical approach to project management and execution.
- **Communication**: Strong English and Arabic written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences, including C-level executives.
- **Leadership & Influence**: The gravitas and credibility to engage with peers, senior leaders and external stakeholders, inspiring confidence and driving collaboration.
- **Project Management**: Proficient in project management methodologies with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.

**Experience**:

- **Consulting Background**: Experience with a top-tier consulting firm is highly desirable, bringing a structured problem-solving approach to the role.
- **Industry Experience**: Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred. Alternatively, a background in technology within a highly regulated environment with a strong understanding of compliance regimes is essential.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Demonstrated ability to work across different functions and teams, both locally and globally, to achieve business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on strategic operations, project management, or consulting.
