**Our school**

As one of the most prestigious international schools in Cairo, MBIS has been delivering the best in British international education for almost 30 years. MBIS serves a truly international, English-speaking body with over 61 nationalities represented. MBIS resides on purpose-built premises, combining modern and Arabic architecture, in leafy Maadi, historically an ex-pat area of Cairo. Our school site incorporates a fully equipped theatre, indoor swimming pool and athletics track as well as specialist classrooms, labs, library, and music rooms. **Interested applicants should**:

- Hold a recognized British teaching qualification for the secondary age range.
- Have at least 2 years successful qualified teaching experience
- Demonstrate a real passion for learning, an understanding of best practice and a desire to continually improve.
- Be committed and hard-working, with high expectations of themselves and the children in their care.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong collegiality and a drive to support whole school development.
- Have real creative flair.
- Possess a positive team-spirit and a good sense of humor.
