Robusta is a tech agency working with a diverse client base across different sectors and industries on implementing digital transformation programs. Engagements are typically focused on digitizing existing operations & processes and/or activating digital customer engagement channels. With a team of 100+ tech and market consultants, Robusta maintains an impactful footprint across EMEA and engages with its clients through its two key operations hubs in Egypt and Germany.

**Position Overview**

The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect the organization’s projects, systems, and data. This role ensures that the company remains resilient against cyber threats by implementing robust security measures, conducting risk assessments, and staying updated with emerging security trends.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze security alerts and escalate potential incidents.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery actions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities in the organization's systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
- Analyze logs and reports generated by security tools for anomalies.
- Assist in identifying security risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Support internal and external audits related to cybersecurity.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on security incidents, configurations, and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.

**Requirements**:
**What we need from you**

**Must-Have Skills**
- Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and Risk Rating
- Familiarity with code review cycle
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage interactions with developers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a development team

**Nice-to-Have Skills**
- Understanding of security domains, preventive measures, and incident response
- Knowledge of secure development lifecycle (SDL) methodologies
- Basic familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices (e.g., AWS cloud) and infrastructure security
- Basic Understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs)
- Basic familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
- Certification in security domains is an advantage
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
