Sustainability & Private Sector Engagement

**Project Overview**:
OSRA PROGRAM is a USAID funded program that started August 2022 and is schedule to end August 20227. The program addresses both the supply and demand for the RH/FP services with a focus on youth empowerment and gender equity. The project works on the national level supporting and strengthening systems in collaboration and partnership with MOHP/Population and family planning sector. The Program intervenes in 10 governorates and provide a comprehensive capacity building of service provision adopting a total market approach so addressing capacity needs of MOHP clinics, NGO owned clinics, and private sector entities including private clinics and pharmacies. The project adopts the same total market approach in creating demand where all institutions in the country are seen with potential to contribute to addressing the unplanned growth of the population and the less-than-optimal population characteristics.

**Summary of Role**:
The sustainability and PSE Coordinator will support the M&S team leader in day to day implementation of M&S team activities. S/he will coordinate team activities among OSRA results, ensuring smooth synchronization with all OSRA teams. In addition, s/he will work very closely with M&S team leader to design approaches and models that engage the private sector at all levels of implementation.

The SOW includes but not limited to the following dimensions:

- Oversee that elements of coordination, administrative requirements are well observed as per the project rules and regulations.
- Assist with the follow up and activation of the implemented of capacity building programs for PSE WG for both MOHP/P&FPS and NPC to engage the private sector..
- Assist the team lead in addressing, coordinating, planning and following up on the digitalization component activities with a special focus on the engagement of the private sector and the integration with other solutions.
- Work closely with the M&S team leader and PSE advisor to target and engage private sector corporations.

**Location**: Egypt, Cairo

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the main focal point and liaise with other OSRA procurement and finance teams to ensure that activities are implemented according to rules and regulations and that activities are within the allocated budget.
- Work with M&S team leader to design, implement and capture sustainability, replication and scale up activities of the OSRA model by MOHP and other stakeholders.
- Assist the M&S team leader with the management of the subaward subcontracts including review and report writing and correspondence and as needed activities.
- Assist the team lead with the coordination and management of the stakeholders’ interventions to assure sustained maximum impact from activities.
- Support the team in planning and reporting on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis
- Work with M&S Team Leader to design and implement private sector engagement.
- Others as may be assigned or in line with the evolving requirements of OSRA project

**Required Education and Work Experience**:

- A relevant undergraduate degree with preferable master’s degree in Business administration, development field or a related field; or a minimum of BA with additional years of experience.
- Experience in working with private sector through CSR or marketing channels.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in management programs (preferably in health programming)
- Solid analytical, desk review skills and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of systems functionality and government system, understanding of concepts & dimensions of sustainability, & familiarity with concepts and models of private sector engagement
- Preferably some experience working in Egypt and/or the broader MENA region.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to function under pressure
- Flexibility to travel within Egypt.
