As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical equipment in the Oil & Energy sector. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our clients' projects, and ultimately, the growth and reputation of Eram Talent.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct inspections and evaluate the integrity and quality of mechanical equipment on various projects within the Oil & Energy industry.
- The inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspection and documentation of the assets to be done during the T&I. His responsibility shall include the following.
- Check the fit -up and cleanliness of the weld joint before welding.
- Monitor welding processes and check the electrodes including preheat.
- Visual examine the completed welds for surface defects.
- Schedule the required NDT i.e. RT/ PT/MT/HT/PMI for completed welds.
- Monitor and check the PWHT set up and evaluate the results.
- Maintain QC documentation such as weld map and weld tracking sheet.
- Prepare daily report to Inspection coordinator for the progress of work.
- Address any issues with regard to quality and safety.

- All inspection evaluation, recommendation and follow-up shall comply with the company's mandatory Engineering documents (STD, Procedures, and Material Requirements etc.). The inspection activities shall include internal and external.
- Responsible for asking supports to the company's Inspection representatives to assist inspection activities (E.g. Scaffold erection/Insulation removal).
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 7+ Years Experience as a Mechanical Inspector within the Oil & Energy industry.
- Minimum of 5+ years of T&I shutdown experience.
- Oil and Gas experience
- Mandatory Certifications API 510, API 570 & AWS-CWI and/or CSWIP-3.1 (All certificates shall currently be valid).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME, and ISO.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections and tests on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document non-conformances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
