The Projects Offshore structural Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of offshore engineering activities. The individual should be dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Effective communication and collaboration with managers, and proactive problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides.
- Study and define the best technical solutions for offshore structures (both substructures and topsides) during various design stages (feasibility, FEED, detail design).
- Prepare sketch drawings and concept and feasibility studies.
- Be aware of marine operations and naval interfaces with structural design.
- Teamwork and collaboration with immediate and wider teams during the execution of assigned tasks.
- Liaise with other disciplines during project execution for the execution of the assigned tasks.
- To prepare and review all technical documentation related to Structural Design activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation, detailed engineering, Operations, Decommissioning).
- To review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors as applicable for structural aspects if any.
- Pre-project and feasibility studies, Design and FEED studies,
- Detailed engineering packages,
- Independent design verification analysis, Interface with equipment,.
- Expertise in structural analysis, detailed fabrication, drawings.
- Expertise and analysis for Load out, transportation and installation of offshore structures,.
- Expertise in Linear and non-linear offshore structural analysis using ,SACS,SESAM and USFOS software
- Expertise in Application of environmental and topsides loading.
- Expertise in Fatigue, Ultimate and Accidental Limit States
- Expertise in Ship impact

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

**Qualifications**
- Experience:

- At least eight years of experience in the Design of Fixed Offshore Platforms and Subsea structures, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.

Familiarity with softwares like (SACS, USFOS).
- Good experience in performing finite element analysis.
