**Responsibilities**:
This role has two big dimensions including R&D Single Point of Contact at BU LT and PC Product Development. Accountabilities below are outlined accordingly.
Dimension 1 (R&D Single Point of Contact for BU LT):

- This role will sit in PO1 BU LT with senior stake holders (LG1 to LG6) and provide R&D point of view to enable faster decision-making process.
- This role provides necessary communication between R&D (across PD, GFGC, PLS) for all key forums like PO1 BU LT to ensure seamless alignment.
- Role requires to have an oversight of commercial plans (AOP/PSP) for PO1 business.
- Role requires to have an oversight of R&D structures in regions, Global functions and platforms team, and early resolution of conflicts if there is any mis-match of resources vs. projects..
- This role also enables to share R&D best practices among different markets closely working with R&D regional leads.

Dimension 2 (Product Development PC Platforms)
- Technical brands leadership for platforms like PC in CFI portfolio for Refresh, Reframe and some breakthrough innovation.
- Projects support for AOP and PSP initiatives from Idea Hopper to Launch and Learn.
- Develop product against Consumer and Business KPIs by leveraging available resources including pilot plants, factory equipment, supplier’s technical assets.
- Develop project briefs/Global Innovation Briefs and seek cross functional alignment (especially Marketing and Supply Chain).
- Leverage expertise inside and outside the organization to deliver product and process development.
- Lead Technical Stage Gate & Accolade related work for his/her project and ensure timely completion

Qualifications:
10 - 12 years of experience in FMCG industry, preferrebraly Food and beverage.

Current experience in product development/R&D function and 3rd party manufacturing is a must.

Master’s degree in food science /Engineering (Chemical/industrial) / Food & Nutrition/Pharma. PhD is preferred.

Fluency in Arabic and english languages is a must.

Excellent communication skills.
