**Job Summary**:
A Remote HVAC Engineer performs many of the same core functions as an on-site HVAC Engineer but focuses more on design, planning, coordination, technical support, and system monitoring, all done off-site. With advances in digital tools and IoT-connected HVAC systems, remote work has become increasingly viable in this field.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop HVAC designs, load calculations, and energy analysis using tools like HAP, Trace 700, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Create and review HVAC system layouts, ductwork designs, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, local codes, and sustainability standards.
- Provide virtual support to on-site engineers and contractors during system installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot system issues using remote diagnostics, IoT data, or Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and respond to RFIs.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers via Zoom, Teams, BIM 360, or other collaboration tools.
- Attend remote project meetings and provide technical insights.
- Use remote monitoring tools to assess HVAC system performance in real-time.
- Analyze energy consumption data and recommend system improvements.
- Support predictive maintenance planning based on sensor data and analytics.
- Prepare technical reports, system documentation, operation manuals, and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain records in cloud-based platforms for easy team access.

**Requirements**:

- 8 to 10 years of experience
- Very good knowledge of Software selection for AHU, FCU, and Fans.
- Deal with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
