Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive operation and maintenance strategies to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of rail and metro systems, including rolling stock, tracks, signaling, and other infrastructure components.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and operational staff, providing guidance and support to achieve performance targets and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities, inspections, and system upgrades, minimizing service disruptions and optimizing asset utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance standards, and operational procedures, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operation and maintenance teams, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operation and maintenance management within the rail and metro industry, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of rail and metro systems, including rolling stock, traction power systems, signaling, and relevant maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and best practices applicable to rail and metro operations and maintenance.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

- Professional certification in Maintenance Management (CMRP, CRL, etc.).
- Familiarity with asset management principles and related software systems, such as EAM/CMMS solutions used in the rail and metro industry.
- Experience in implementing predictive maintenance programs, condition monitoring technologies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficiency initiatives relevant to rail and metro operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements and decision-making.
