Comet - Architects + Interiors is a **design-driven consultancy** delivering high-quality **architectural, interior, and fit-out solutions** across Egypt and the region. With nearly a decade of experience and a reputation built on excellence, we are expanding our network of long-term, recurring clients in the **B2B sector**, particularly in **banking, retail, corporate offices, and hospitality**.
**Purpose of the Role**
We are seeking a **Business Development Executive / Engineer** who thrives on relationship building, strategic outreach, and converting opportunities into recurring partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate high-quality leads through research, outreach, and professional networks.
- Engage with potential clients and present Comet’s architectural and interior design services effectively.
- Identify and convert prospects into recurring or retainer clients (corporates, banks, retail chains, developers).
- Prepare and send customized proposals in response to client needs and RFPs.
- Manage the full sales cycle: meetings, negotiations, follow-ups, and deal closing.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline through strategic relationship management.
- Represent Comet in meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Log and track all business activities in CRM systems (Zoho / Apollo).
- Minimum **3 years of experience** in business development within **architecture, interiors, fit-out, or construction**.
- Existing **network of corporate and institutional contacts** in Egypt.
- Proven record of **lead conversion and client retention**.
- Excellent **communication, presentation, and negotiation** skills.
- Proficiency in **CRM systems** (Zoho / Apollo preferred).
- Solid understanding of the **project lifecycle** and architectural/interior design process.
- Experience representing firms at **industry events and expos**.
