El Banna Engineering Centre is seeking a highly skilled and proactive **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer** to join our team in **Al Sadat City** for a high-profile project with a **multinational client**. This is a **strict safety environment** involving **high-risk activities**, including **steel erection from significant heights** and other industrial construction operations.

The **HSE Engineer** will be responsible for **ensuring the highest standards of safety compliance**, actively monitoring site activities, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across the workforce. The role requires **hands-on supervision, leadership, and exceptional attention to detail**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and oversee **HSE policies and procedures** in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
- Conduct **daily safety inspections** and ensure compliance with the **multinational client’s strict safety requirements**.
- Monitor **high-risk activities** such as **steel erection, working at heights, heavy lifting, and confined space work**.
- Lead **Toolbox Talks, Safety Inductions, and emergency preparedness drills**.
- Identify and assess **workplace hazards**, recommend corrective actions, and ensure proper implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure **zero-incident performance**.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe behaviors, and develop preventive measures.
- Prepare **accurate safety reports** and maintain thorough documentation for client and internal review.
- Serve as the **on-site safety focal point** for client audits, inspections, and meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering**, or a related field.
- **3+ years of relevant experience**, preferably in **industrial construction** and **multinational project environments**.
- Solid knowledge of **local and international HSE standards** (ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.).
- Proven experience with **high-risk activities** such as **steel erection, working at heights, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operations**.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety measures under pressure.
- Proficiency in **English and Arabic** is required.
- **Professional certifications** (NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO) are a strong advantage.
