Wego is the most popular travel search engine in the Middle East and among the leading players in online travel in Southeast Asia.

ShopCash is a new cashback and loyalty program launched by Wego in MENA in 2020. ShopCash gives users access to a wide range of cashback offers, promo codes, deals and vouchers from a variety of merchants. ShopCash was developed to make brand and deal discovery easier while enabling users to save on every purchase.

**Responsibilities**

**Creative Development**:

- Design static and animated creatives tailored for various paid ad platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Create engaging short-form videos, GIFs, and motion graphics optimised for performance and audience engagement.
- Develop and animate graphics, logos, and visual elements to bring static images and ideas to life.
- Edit raw video footage, including splicing, trimming, and adding transitions, to create a compelling narrative.
- Add music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the video's overall impact.
- Ensure all visual assets and content adhere to brand guidelines and standards.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and messaging.
- Partner with the marketing manager to ensure creatives align with brand identity and messaging.

**Trendspotting**:

- Stay updated on design trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to create cutting-edge designs.
- Proactively suggest new ideas for creatives and formats.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience of 2+ years as a motion graphics designer and Video Editor.
- Excellent knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and graphic design skills.
- Ability to convey a clear narrative and visual story through the editing process.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their requirements.
- Knowledge of video formats and compression techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
