A well-known Saudi Arabian contracting company, renowned across the Kingdom for its dominance in Turnkey Projects, EHV/HV, and power cables initiatives, is actively seeking an **Oracle Finance & Supply Chain Consultant**.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Troubleshooting the vital errors of the ERP system
- Customizing the system as per the business requirements of the company.
- Updating the financial modules as per GAZT laws, implementing the new VAT 15% across all modules
- Training new employees to use the ERP systems
- Resolving complex discrepancies in the system for the business managers
- Identifying financial differences between Ledger and Subledger at every period closing activity is crucial for accurate financial information.
- Assisting Accountants and Managers in period closing for all financial modules.
- Assisting the Finance managers of the group during the reconciliation.
- Interfacing with users, requirements gathering new requirements, module setup, preparing the testing script, and preparing training guides for users.
- Implementing the Oracle recommended best practices and for complex business processes, hence maintaining system governance in the best interest of the business logic.
- Defines ERP users and technical custom ERP responsibilities excluding function and menus, defining request sets, request groups, registering Concurrent programs, defining Value sets, and sequences.
- Defining new Financial calendars and unique document sequences for all ERP transactions, including invoices, payments, credit memos, sales orders, purchase orders, journal vouchers, etc. just to name a few.
- Defining tax status, and tax rules, assigning tax classification to suppliers and customers, updating tax accounts, defining and defaulting new tax classification in the ERP as per GAZT laws
- Training users how to make financial reports in the General Ledger module through a strong Oracle GL tool called FSG by defining row set and column set
- Expertise in iExpense module, resolving all major issues of the module, and creating iExpense users and managers to approve the requests as required. To this day all the employees of the group use to submit their expenses.
- Responsible for resolving all functional issues related to the Finance and SCM module
- Defining a new shipping network, defining a new sub-inventory, defining a new Sales order transaction type, and assigning it to AR transaction type as part of the Supply chain requirement of the company.
- Updating and defining new PO approval hierarchy
- Resolving purchase order issues and auto invoice issues, in addition to scheduling auto invoice programs in ERP
- Directly works with Oracle on solving major breakdown issues by raising SRs to Oracle and implementing Oracle action plans and solutions, therefore striving to resolve any such matters as quickly as possible.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Finance & Supply Chain Consultant with a minimum of 5 years
- Strong understanding of financial and supply chain processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and client-facing skills
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
