Network and Endpoint Security Senior Engineer

Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Strong knowledge of Security technologies, Defense in Depth & Zero Trust practices including IPS/IDS, Firewall Management, End Points & Applications Security.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and best practice
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocol
- Understanding of various OS Windows, Linux.
- Capacity to troubleshoot security incidents and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and segmentation to implement effective security controls.
- Knowledge of L2 /L3 security attacks and how to mitigation techniques.
- Hands-on experience in (firewalls, IPS-IDS ,DDOS mitigation techniques ,network admission controls - load balancing algorithms and techniques )
- Experience with endpoint protection tools, antivirus solutions, (EDR) ,NDR ,XDR ,AV and APT solutions, HIPs,file integrity monitoring ,MDM systems ,Remote access VPNs.
- Ability to configure and manage security settings on various operating systems.
- knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Security technologies, Defense in Depth & Zero Trust practices including IPS/IDS, Firewall Management, End Points & Applications Security
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Leadership and team management experience, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team.
- Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality operating system services.

Pay: E£20,000.00 - E£60,000.00 per month
