Software Tester

We are looking for a highly organized person to test the software designed and developed by one of our product teams. This role is involved in the quality assurance stage of the software development and deployment process, and participates in the Agile development process as member of a cross-functional development team.

**_ There is opportunity for this role in both our Reykjavík, Iceland office or Porto, Portugal office_**

**Main assignments**:

- Detect software failures so that defects may be identified and corrected
- Examine code and execution of code in various environments
- Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
- Participate in the Agile development process as a member of a cross-functional development team

**Requirements**:

- Education that is relevant to the role, Bachelor's Degree is an advantage
- Knowledge of the hotel industry is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of testing software
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience using Test Plans for Azure DevOps is an advantage
- Experience of automated testing is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
