**Technical Competencies**
- Solid understanding of basic financial accounting principles
- Comfortable using accounting software

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contacting customers who have past due balances and communicating with them in a professional and effective manner to collect outstanding debts.
- identify and resolve payment issues, such as billing errors or disputes, and work with customers to find a mutually acceptable resolution.
- maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including customer contact information, payment arrangements, and notes on communication with customers.
- monitoring accounts to ensure that payments are made on time, and following up with customers when necessary.
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers, working collaboratively with them to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts.
- provide weekly reports to the heads/leaders on the status of collections activities, as well as analysis of payment trends and issues that may impact the company's overall financial performance.
- collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve payment issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- verifying the identity of customers, including reviewing identification documents and conducting background checks.
- assess the level of risk associated with each customer based on their background, transaction history, and other factors, and determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- conduct due diligence on customers, including reviewing financial statements, conducting credit checks, and reviewing legal documentation.
- monitor customer transactions to identify suspicious activity and comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations.
- maintain accurate records of customer information, including identification documents and transaction histories.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience related to Accounting
- Able to communicate financial information clearly and work effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with multitasking
- Fluency in both English and Arabic
