Tasks
- Visually inspects buildings and related systems including mechanical, electrical, and process systems to determine energy consumption in each area or system.
- Uses a variety of tools such as air velocity monitors or digital thermometers to collect field data related to energy use; analyzes the results.
- Identifies energy saving opportunities, calculating potential savings and prioritizing areas with the most return on investment.
- Composes and presents audit reports containing the results of the energy analysis and recommendations for improved energy efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years of experience conducting comprehensive energy audits required.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, with a demonstrated interest in energy conservation required
- good understanding of energy saving and solar projects required.
- Basic understanding of energy modeling software
- Basic understanding of energy conservation principles and techniques
