About the Job

**The Project Manager Will**:
The basic function of the Project Manager is to control and manage all financial performance components on multiple projects, integrating with clients, internal design team, and all internal supporting departments who contribute to the success of our projects.

Work successfully in a team environment and promote our corporate values: Family, Integrity, Commitment, Quality, Growth and Leadership.
Support the Estimating team with proposals, pre-award site walks, client communication support, estimating hand-offs, postmortem feedback and lessons learned.
Manage project start-up, contract management, preliminary project information, project management tracking and reporting, change orders, documentation control, and project closeout.
Be responsible for project budget/cost control (all cost classes) management with financial reporting and accurate billing.
Possess strong client management skills including contractors, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Present Monthly Work In Progress presentations.
Possess strong management experience with leadership qualities.

Your Qualification

Ability to lead a project team to success by “leading without authority”.
Excellent communication skills including speaking, writing, and listening.
Ability to read and understand construction documents (RFPs, contracts, specifications, construction drawings, etc.) and able to conceptualize two-dimensional drawings as a three-dimensional object and communicate that vision to others.
General construction knowledge, accounting acumen and math skills.
Strong and effective negotiating skills.
Technological skills proficient in computer software programs (financial, word processing, spreadsheet, and scheduling programs).
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects differing in size, scope, and geographic location.
**Required**: High School Diploma
**Required**: Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and be insurable by M Bar C
**Preferred**: Project Management experience in government, DSA or military construction assignments.
**Preferred**: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering or another related field.

**Additional Information**:
While performing the primary duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to indoor, office conditions however may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
