**The St Denis site is part of the Group's Aftermarket activity, Valeo Service. It supplies spare parts to automakers and the independent aftermarket. We are looking for **Senior DevOps Engineer
You will have a solid knowledge of DevOps roles & responsibilities, as well as CICD standards, and will ensure operational stability and security, adhering to industry standards.

**Your challenges?
- Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
- Being agile and able to operate at scale
- Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible
- Create and maintain projects architecture schemas
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Working on solutions to automate and improve development and release processes
- Build logging, monitoring & alerting culture, choose the right tools, build logs and monitor env for scale
- Act upon alerts/logs on infrastructure layer (security, performance, scalability, reliability, cost)
- Monitor usage, finetune and configure the system by provisioning AWS resources
- Monitor the CI/CD running activities on production to ensure functional correctness
- Manage cost distribution based on CI/CD usage (FinOps)
- Identify any weakness areas in the running CI pipeline and provide solutions
- Raise flag upon any production down incidents and take needed actions when applicable
- Approve new CI / CD deployments on production after verifying the level of standardization
- Ensure CI / CD compliance with security policies
- Respond to issues through ticketing system and provide end to end resolution within defined SLA
- Report set of defined KPIs to assess the platform health and the service level
- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
- Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and cloud security solutions.
- Optimize our current infrastructure and suggest alternative solutions in terms of security, cost effectiveness and performance.
- Implement security and data access policies to reduce risk.
- Evaluation of new technology alternatives and products.

**About you?**

You have a bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field

You should have 3+ years of experience, with most of these qualities:

- Experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Hands-on experience on Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of cloud provider services, preferably AWS
- Excellent knowledge with hands-on experience on IaC solutions (preferred CloudFormation)
- Excellent knowledge with hands-on experience on serverless frameworks (preferred SAM)
- Hands-on experience on systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring (preferred Prometheus, Grafana and Loki)
- Hands-on experience on running automated testing and generating reports
- Hands-on experience on Jenkins Pipelines (or similar) for both Web and Mobile Apps
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose to build development images & environments
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Good knowledge and experience on one scripting language and one programming language at least
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Agile principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Knowledgeable on modern concepts of software development and architectures (SoC, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, SOA, Mobile-first, Digital)
- AWS DevOps Professional certificate is a plus
