**About the role**

As Flat6Labs Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring & evaluation (M&E) function activities including data collection, analysis and developing reports to ensure the efficiency of all programs. You will work closely with teams like investment team, Programs team, to assess the impact of our investments, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Design the needs assessments and baseline surveys/data collection.
- Design the framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of program activities.
- Monitor the performance of existing management information systems and help identify potential modifications or resources.
- Support in preparing performance monitoring plans, including developing and defining program indicators and sources of data, as well as annual reports and other program documents.
- Design, review and test monitoring and evaluation tools for reporting formats and data collection.
- Interpret data and analyze results to provide data driven analytical informative reports.
- Establish rapport and communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure awareness of updates about program changes and progress, support management in strategies and increase program performances and results.
- Support in developing identified key performance indicators against actual achievements.
- Design and train the data collection and data management tools.
- Design and implement activities evaluation tools and reports.
- Develop and prepare periodical reports.
- Develop theory of change and logical framework.
- Train and build capacities of relevant stakeholders.
- Design and conduct basic market research.
- Support in all monitoring and evaluation initiatives for assigned programs including monitoring data quality and tracking activities progress.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, statistics).
- 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the startup or venture capital industry or a relevant industry.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in working with data to drive insights and decision making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner in English and Arabic.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent level of proficiency in Google Suite.
- Experience working with startups and entrepreneurs is a plus.
