About the Role
**CNN Business Arabic **is recruiting social media producers and publishers who will strengthen its growth strategy across all networks and communities, delivering multimedia news content that would keep its broad Arabic-speaking audience, including regional business and public affairs decision-makers, on top of the information game. They will be based in Dubai and in Cairo, reporting to head of video and social media.
Key Accountabilities
- Help maximize digital readership by suggesting innovative and pleasant ways to redirect social media traffic to the website.
- Work closely with journalists, video producers, editors and infographic designers to actively engage in story telling on the different communities and networks.
- Teach, lead and guide social media storytelling across the newsroom.
- Help create guidelines for different types of social media story-telling to ensure effectiveness on all networks and communities -Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Behance.
- Identify social media trends or chatter that can be used as story ideas and alert the newsroom to important news and updates posted by newsmakers.
- Stay informed of all social media advancements for possible usage or implementation.
- Uphold the ethical and editorial standards of the CNN brand for accuracy, fairness and against all kinds of unlawful discrimination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- University degree or diploma in communication, design, economics, business administration, education, social sciences or related fields.
- At least 2 years of digital or related work experience in respected media or communication organizations.
- Expertise in engaging on all social media networks.
- Expertise in working with publishing tools.
- Keen interest in technological developments.
