We're looking for** 2 Analog/Mixed-Signal QA Engineer** to join our **Circuit Simulation RF QA** team in **Cairo, Egypt**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Aim to reach a high quality level for Mentor Graphics Analog Circuit simulators (Eldo Platform and Analog FastSPICE (AFS) Platform).
- Collaborate with RD to Debug Customer Design issues in simulation and propose solutions.
- Participate in the test plan and quality plan definition of the simulator features/analysis in coordination with development and marketing teams.
- Design innovative scenarios targeting to hit different simulator areas and use model of different customers.
- Analyze Customer Designs results, setups, accuracy of outputs and simulator performance for both pre-layout and post-layout circuits.
- Provide Reports to upper management summarizing RF analysis overall status in terms of functionality, accuracy and performance for certain customer use models.
- Test and monitor simulator performance reporting any significant performance degradation.
- Create various test cases to evaluate new features using analog design languages (Spice, Verilog-A).
- Analyze defects reported by customers then Design and automate the circuit accuracy checks for the customer designs.
- Run the adequate tests, analyze the test reports, make the diagnosis of problems, report them to development teams and possibly suggest the way to solve them.
- Use products as a designer and report issues and suggestions to enhance them to meet customer needs.
- Work closely with the developers and the Product Engineers to optimize the development and validation cycle time in an Agile process.

**Required skills, knowledge and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related technical field.
- Experienced in RF Analog Circuit Design and simulation.
- Experience in writing Verilog-A descriptions is a plus
- Preferably has knowledge in RF concepts and RF design and simulation.
- Knowledge in Shell Scripting and UNIX knowledge. Programming and development experience.
- Self-Motivated, highly attentive to details and able to work independently
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
