**Overview of role**
The role of the Tax & Treasury Manager is to develop tax strategies and policies that help the business maintain compliance with local tax laws, help the country finance manager in improving the company’s performance through highlighting the risks & opportunities
**Role overall profile**
- Handle all local taxes scope (VAT, Income, TP, WHT, Payroll, stamp etc.) in line with laws and regulations
- Responsible for managing tax submissions and tax audit requirements of all legal entities.
- Attend and facilitate proper processing of tax inspections and alignment on any tax risk and tax inspection with the management
- Prepare the required analysis and documents necessary for tax inspection purposes, review the tax authority’s inspection report to identify issues raised. Coordinate with external tax advisor on minimizing possible penalties following tax inspections
- Provide tax planning and optimization opportunities advice to the business units
- Handle tax reporting process, including local and global requirements.
- Handle day to day business tax queries.
- Align business of any change in tax regulation to support fast and efficient business decision making.
- Tax-planning strategies for all entities, including developing the most tax efficient action plan and/or ownership structure
- Treasury administrative work conduction the daily activities
- Monitor Cash flow to make sure sufficient funds are available
- Make sure that required information updates are in place with the banks
**Selection criteria**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 7-8 years substantial professional experience in Big 4 or Tax business background
- Preferred CMA holder
- Demonstrated strong written, presentation, and communications skills in English and ability to synthesize and present information effectively and tailored to different audiences
- Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills to identify issues, present creative, practical solutions, and make and commit to sound decisions, anticipating short and long term implications.
- High degree of diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with different kind of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
