**Description**

**Job Purpose**
- Manage Circuit Switching Optimization and Performance/ reporting teams to ensure continues stability and improvement for Etisalat voice Core services adding to the design and assessment of new voice services created over service creation and VAS (Value Added Services) nodes to support fulfilling Etisalat target revenues regarding voice and video services.
- Manage Core Network interconnections with other mobile operators.
- Manage the optimization and performance for International gateway (IGW) Core and project implementation teams for different voice core projects to fulfill company target project and revenues from IGW network.
- Manage voice core yearly budget for purpose of network expansions, upgrades and new voice core projects adding to RFQa/RPEs/RFPs related to circuit switching scope.

**Report To Position Name**

Managing the creation and updating LLD, HLD, network diagrams for Circuit switching network elements in order to meet commercial forecast and network growth.

Managing and following-up the HW/SW and license capacity usage of different CS Core Network Elements and ensuring that it meets marketing forecast.

Managing regular Studies for offloading or expanding all CS core nodes and prepare the required design to achieve commercial target revenues.

Managing raising Change requests for modifications and corrections of the Core Elements to ensure accurate execution.

Participate in different activities with workgroups, network design management team, where solution business aspects are handled

Managing Core Network Component Price Negotiations and vendor selection to achieve best benefit to the organization.

Manage handling different proof of concepts, testing and network design validation for new technologies for sake of modernization and introducing new technologies to support desired growth.

Manage the creation of Performance standards and guidelines for network to ensure continued growth.

Managing teams during the integration and implementing of new network architecture/features to optimally serve the growth of the Core network in terms of traffic, subscribers and value added service capacity according to market team yearly forecast.

Managing technical and feasibility studies and provide design for new voice products and services and produce feasibility report from core side to achieve commercial targets.

Managing Core network BOQs, quotations and price negotiations with all vendors, for finalizing the BOQs of the year, including RFP and RFQ preparations, offer evaluation, till end with final stage of handover to the procurement team.

Participate in cross functional managerial meetings with key stakeholders involved in the development and deployment of new Mobile Core Services in order to define best solutions for new products and services.

Managing short term future core network strategies, core architecture development and network roadmaps in order to meet business targets
Lead different core teams to reduce OPEX and CAPEX and being in line with latest technologies evolutions to match company strategy.

Managing and follow up the required studies to implement new market releases and technology upgrade path to ensure quick deployment of new and innovative products/services.

Managing long term and short term plans with other operator regarding connectivity details.

Managing the creation of different Voice Core Network Planning Performance report in a daily/ weekly/ monthly/ yearly period using DWH, CDRs and Counters data and escalate finding to top management to ensure network healthiness.

Managing teams to ensure that all optimization, Performance and reporting activities are met on time with the required deliverables, quality and best performance.

Managing optimization and capacity planning teams to handle technical issues with other operators & and follow end of year payment agreement with them.

Manage the plans and maintain all interconnect KPIs, new migrations and OPEX reductions.
Manage the monitoring of traffic behavior and trend to assess the forecast provided by commercial teams

Managing different core teams toward the optimization actions across all voice core networks for OPEX, CPEX saving and customer experience satisfaction.

Managing identifying potential issues (congestion, network parameters tuning, customer complaint, etc...) and provide associated recommendations to enhance network performance.
Managing the team to perform signaling and traffic routing plan which achieve the highest network availability.

Managing the team to prepare assessment for traffic trends, traffic profile changes, rate plans and new commercial offers.

Managing the team in adjusting and maintaining international rooting cases for interconnect with other carriers to achieve best benefit to Etisalat.
