Technical Writer Responsibilities:

- The successful applicant will be responsible for creating technical documentation and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner. Work with SMEs to ensure accuracy of the technical content.
- Develops a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues and working with managers to discuss technical problems.
- Researches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented.
- Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension; writes and edits technical information accordingly.
- Prepares or commissions graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing.
- Write technical documents in compliance to the company’s established style guides, standards, templates, and guidelines.
- Collect user feedback to update and improve content.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any other technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a technical writer or technical position
- Proven ability to quickly learn (high learning agility) and aptitude to understand complex topics.
- Previous experience in writing technical documents like architecture documents, procedural documents, Product Specification Document, and online help files.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong proficiency in any of the authoring tools like Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects or products simultaneously within stringent deadlines, with an eye for prioritization.
