We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge. We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Assessment Consultant

with experience in the English language teaching sector to join our business development team. This role will be essential in helping to increase the impact of our English language learning & assessment in Egypt and North Africa, in line with our ambitious targets.

**About the role**

As a Learning & Assessment Consultant, you will support the achievement of annual revenue targets by implementing the approved country strategic plans and by developing both existing and new business in Egypt. Specifically, you will:

- Develop a detailed understanding of Cambridge's learning and assessment portfolio for English to contribute to the achievement of annual revenue and profitability targets in the region, and to provide expert consultation with decision makers and influencers.
- Build strong relationships with our key partners across learning, assessment and distribution channels, providing extensive support and facilitating the best possible experience of Cambridge products.
- Carry out a combination of in-person and online meetings with key existing customers and potential new customers, according to agreed prioritisation and country strategic plans.
- Deliver product and platform training to our key partners and schools.
- Grow and maintain an accurate pipeline of leads and opportunities within our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).

This work will require regular travel and overnight stays, principally but not exclusively in Egypt.

**About you**

You will be a creative and industrious individual who works well both independently and as part of a team, and who has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you will:

- have good knowledge of the English language teaching and assessment industry in varying contexts.
- be highly organised and able to plan your work around your individual, team, and customer requirements.
- have a demonstrable ability to ensure outstanding record-keeping which enables you to work towards achieving strategic objectives and budgetary targets.
- be an Ambassador for Cambridge's mission ‘to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest international levels of excellence', and play your part in helping maintain the world-leading status that Cambridge is proud of in assessment, education, research and academic publishing.
- have experience in sales and/or marketing as well as some existing knowledge of Cambridge English learning and assessment products.
- have a minimum C1 level in English and Arabic
