Store Manager

Greet customers and provide assistance. - Maintain cleanliness and order in the store. - Clean motel rooms. - Perform laundry duties. - Take inventory. - Order groceries and supplies. - Check received stock against invoices. - Mark prices on stock. - Restock shelves - Record prices in the log book - Receive cash and provide correct change - Operate the cash register - Balance cash receipts - Make deposits - Record visa and debit accounts - Maintain a manual general ledger - Print and record receipts - Reconcile bank statements - Keep track of customer
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: - customer service - accounts payable and accounts receivables - office administration - store and motel management and administration Skills The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills: - excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - bookkeeping skills - analytical and problem solving skills - decision making skills - effective verbal and listening communications skills - effective written communications skills - computer skills including the ability to operate a cash register, computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level - time management skills
Panda was founded in 1978 as the first supermarket chain in the retail sector in Saudi Arabia. In 1994, Panda merged with Azizia to form Azizia Panda United APU. In 1998 APU was acquired by The Savola Group, one of the largest diversified conglomerates in MENA region. Azizia Panda United became the retail sector of Savola and started its journey to become the leading food retailer in the region. In 2008, APU complemented its ambitious organic growth with an acquistion of “Giant Stores” a supermarket chain in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. One year later in 2009, APU has landed another great success by acquiring “Geant” stores, which expanded APU chain with 10 Hypermarkets and 1 Supermarket, a deal that raised APU’s market share of the retail sector in Saudi Arabia and became the undisputed market leader. At Panda we believe in people development, over the years we have trained and developed Saudi employees through its various employment and training programs started by the Panda Academy in 2003. Today Panda employs thousands of Saudis in various positions and many of which have become the best retail talent in the region.
