AI Engineer - Conversational Web Solutions

Company: GURETRUCK FOR SOLUTIONS Location: New Cairo, Egypt

A Spain-based company is looking for a skilled AI Engineer to collaborate on innovative web-based AI solutions. This position is anchored in our new tech hub in New Cairo and offers a unique opportunity to:

- Interact with cutting-edge language models in multi-turn conversations to build target webpages with dynamic functionality.
- Contribute directly to the next generation of AI-powered internal tools and customer-facing products.

Key responsibilities

1. Architect & build the chatbot platform
- Choose and orchestrate LLMs (GPT-4o, Llama 3, etc.) and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Design conversation flow, context handling, and fallback strategies.

2. Integrate & deploy
- Containerise services (Docker/K8s) and launch them on company’s servers.
- Expose secure REST/GraphQL endpoints with proper auth, rate limiting, and logging.

3. Automate with agents (phase 2)
- Implement agent frameworks (LangChain Agents, CrewAI, Autogen) that execute multi-step tasks across ERP/CRM and SQL data stores.

4. Monitor, maintain, and improve
- Instrument observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Perform fine-tuning, evaluation, and iterative prompt engineering.

Must-have requirements
- 3 + years back-end experience in Python or TypeScript, 1 + year running LLMs in production.
- Expert-level use of LangChain or LlamaIndex and one vector DB (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, FAISS).
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data-ingestion pipelines for PDFs, CSV, webpages, SharePoint, etc.
- Proven practice with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and API security (JWT).
- Fluent English (speaking and writing) Spanish is a plus.

Nice-to-have skills
- Fine-tuning with LoRA/QLoRA or model quantisation (GGUF/GGML).
- OpenAI Function Calling, Toolformer, ReAct / Tree-of-Thoughts prompting.
- Frameworks such as FastAPI, NestJS, gRPC.
- Experience with agent ecosystems (CrewAI, Autogen, Semantic-Router).
- Observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
- Workflow orchestration using Airflow or Temporal.
- Open-source contributions to AI/LLM projects.
