Head of Supply Chain Operations

We are looking for an experienced head of supply chain to define and lead the execution of the company’s supply chain strategy. You’ll collaborate with other stakeholders in the Operations and Commercial departments to create effective tactics to optimise our facilities and resources to reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

As a director of supply chain, your responsibilities include understanding the logistics, distribution, purchasing and procurement, and inventory management of the supply chain At Tagaddod.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyze data from collection and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organisation
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Oversee and work toward improvement of fulfilment processes
- Oversee and work towards improvement of supplier performance.
- Oversee and work toward improvement of transportation routes and load management.
- Oversee and work toward improvement of 3PLs contracting and performance.
- Contribute to Tagaddod’s market intelligence & Network recipe
- Provide regular progress and status reports to C level management

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management, or a relevant field.
- 10+ years diversified and progressive work experience in, order fulfilment, logistics, and/or supply chain systems with multiple international donors in multinational environments. Experience in industries such as FMCGs, logistics, and/or transportation is preferred.
- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong leadership and proven ability to direct, train, and manage teams.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
- Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
