You’ll be responsible for:

- You will be fully responsible for leading and managing a project, or part thereof.
- You will provide advice in planning the project, including procurement, project controls and delivery.
- You will manage relationships with the client and other project stakeholders.
- You will provide advice to the client to enable him to make key project decisions in a timely manner and ensure these are suitably administering.
- You will participate in the project execution plan, ensure it is agreed with project stakeholders, and ensure that all relevant parties you lead and supervise also understand these project objectives in your day to day management of the project.
- You will plan, manage, and monitor the project, reporting any areas of concerns in a timely manner, and you will recommend ways to resolve any issues as they arise.
- You will always comply with Mace processes and procedures and deliver our services in line with Mace core values.
- Ensuring Scope change is monitored and managed in accordance with change protocols.
- Ensuring Client and Statutory Approvals are built into programme.
- Leading Constructability reviews.
- Advising on Consultant Selection and Appointment.
- Evaluation of Consultant Variations and Claims in connection with design
- Challenging and supporting the design teams to ensure design solutions are optimized.

You’ll need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering.
- Extensive experience.
- Ability to manage multiple works packages in parallel.
- Ability to maintain proper records and tracking.
- Having experience in Value Engineering.
- Accredited in Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
- Having contractual knowledge according to FIDIC.
- Ability to interrogate programmes and critical path.
- Knowledge of construction technology knowledge (on-site experience).
- Good verbal and written communication.

You’ll also have:

- Managing through others - including delegating, coordinating, appraising, coaching
- Competent to lead a small team in own discipline area.
- Persuading and influencing clients, consultants, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Takes responsibility for their actions, leads by example and acts in an ethical, legal, and responsible way.
- Is self-aware, makes the most of their talents, skills, and resourcefulness.
- Sets SMART objectives and efficiently manages resources and tasks.
- Collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships.
- Takes ownership to identify, solve and overcome challenges.
- Adapts and reacts well to changing priorities and requirements.
- Delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations.
