**JOB PURPOSE** The Special Projects Lead will be responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives and acting as a project lead for cross-functional projects within one or two divisions to drive growth and operational excellence within the company. This role requires a versatile individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - **Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of special projects from conception to** **completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.** - **Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritise key initiatives that support the** **company's long-term goals and competitive advantage.** - **Work closely with various departments, including but not limited to, product development,** **marketing, finance, and operations, to drive collaboration and ensure seamless execution of** **projects.** - **Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, optimising efficiency and minimising risks throughout the project lifecycle.**: - **Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure project success, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.**: - **Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to ensure successful outcomes.**: - **Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project processes, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.**: - **Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration to drive alignment and support for project objectives.**: - **Directs and supervises the collection, maintenance, reporting and publication of data regarding research and project activities.**: - **Leading priority projects and take on roles that are critical to the company’s success and growth**: - **Maintain all project documentation, including project plans, status reports,, budgets and expenses,**: - **Convey priorities, coordinate work and ensure issues are resolved or escalated to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met**: - **Oversee the work of staff while ensuring collaboration and providing ongoing support** **Requirements**: **Qualifications** - **Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or any related field or equivalent certification.** **Experience** - **Proven experience in project management, preferably in a scale-up or fast-paced environment.** - **Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional** **teams.** - **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.** **Skills** - **Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.**: - **Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize** **effectively.** - **Proficiency in project management tools and software.**: - **PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
