Danfoss Drives is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to the further development of our product range.

You will be working with the mechanical design of our future products, in close cooperation with colleges from Development, Marketing and Supply Chain.

You will join the Danfoss Drives Division in Graasten and become part of the Mechanical and Reliability Engineering team of 17 colleagues in DK.

**Responsibilities**:
Experience with mechanical product development, mechanical testing (temperature, shock, vibration) and development within design of e.g., Plastic, Sheet-metal, and Heat Sinks, will be a great advantage to be able to perform the development of mechanical solutions and the following tasks, for the Danfoss Drives product range. During the development you will be in close collaboration with internally stakeholders and with external suppliers in connection with sparring and development.

Furthermore:

- Evaluate the mechanical impact of requirements coming from all internally stakeholders in the organization
- Test and verification of mechanical designs
- On-site testing of prototypes
- Collaboration with production, with the aim of developing so that the production line can be automated
- Documentation of knowledge and production related specifications

**Background & Skills**:
You have a passion for developing products, all the way from an idea to a final product, that will be produced in our factory. You are able to work independently and at the same time collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. You are a team player with a positive attitude, and you define yourself as innovative and self-driven. You have a robust personality and remains focused when facing technical challenges. You have solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Furthermore, you need:

- Experienced Mechanical Engineer with +8 years of experience
- Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and experience with 3D product design
- Understanding and insight in simulation
