- Cairo About DC Experts DC Experts is a specialized contracting company delivering Data Center Infrastructure and MEP solutions across mission-critical projects. We provide end-to-end services, including electrical systems, mechanical systems, light current systems, testing & commissioning, and turnkey project execution. We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Site Engineer to lead electrical site execution, manage project teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects that meet the highest technical, safety, and quality standards. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of electrical site execution experience.
- Proven experience in Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, MEP, or Large-Scale Infrastructure Projects.
- Strong knowledge of: LV Electrical Systems, Critical Power Systems, UPS & Backup Power, Generators, Earthing Systems and Testing & Commissioning
- Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC).
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites across Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all electrical site activities from mobilization through project handover.
- Manage site engineers, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Oversee the installation of critical electrical systems including: UPS Systems, LV Panels & Switchgear, Generators, Transformers, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Busbar Systems, Cable Trays & Power Cabling, Earthing & Lightning Protection and Lighting Systems
- Ensure all work complies with approved shop drawings, project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Light Current, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Technical Office teams.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, and technical documents before execution.
- Monitor site progress, manpower productivity, and material availability.
- Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Attend client, consultant, and coordination meetings while representing DC Experts professionally.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company safety procedures.
- Support testing, commissioning, snag clearance, PAC, and final project handover.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.
