Banyan Global is recruiting a Chief of Party for the anticipated USAID/Egypt Evaluation Management Activity. The purpose of this activity is to provide evaluation and learning support services for USAID/Egypt and implementing partners (IPs) staff. The activity will provide technical services for USAID/Egypt to conduct evaluations and increase dissemination and learning from and using results from performance and impact evaluations The activity will also build capacity of local organizations and stakeholders to manage and conduct evaluations of development programming.

The Chief of Party will be responsible for the technical, contractual, and financial compliance and performance of services delivered under the award. The position is full-time, based in Cairo, and contingent on funding.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead all project planning and implementation, ensuring that activity tasks are completed and objectives successfully met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with and represent the project to USAID, implementing partners, host country officials, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in and oversight to five to six high quality evaluations of USAID/Egypt activities on an annual basis, and assist the Mission to develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive, forward-looking evaluation plan.
- Proactively identify resources required by the project, including consultants and subcontractors, and oversee the development of scopes of work for the same.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of all contract deliverables and work products.
- Directly or indirectly supervise all project staff and consultants.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant USG, Banyan Global, and host country rules, regulations, and laws, including those related to procurement and labor and employment.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- At least 10 years of professional experience managing complex international development programming, preferably with a dedicated focus on monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Previous Chief of Party experience or equivalent (e.g., Team Leader, Country Director) on a USAID-funded award preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with USAID’s Program Cycle, monitoring and evaluation requirements, and collaborating, learning, and adapting principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and track record of successfully managing relationships with diverse development stakeholders in Egypt.
- Professional fluency in Egyptian Arabic and English.
- Graduate degree in relevant field.
