**Batch and Integration monitoring Specialist**
**Reporting to : Retail Integration Engineer.**
**Job Summary**:
As a Batch Monitoring Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our system batches and integration jobs. You will utilize tools such as Automic, and other monitoring software to oversee the execution of various jobs and batches within our systems.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- **Batch Monitoring and Troubleshooting**:
- Monitor system batches and jobs to ensure they run smoothly and complete within specified timeframes.
- Perform Level 1 troubleshooting in case of job failures or issues, which may involve tasks such as restarting jobs or resolving minor errors.
- Escalate complex issues or those requiring developer intervention to the Level 2 support team (developers, system administrators, etc.) for resolution.
- Assist System / Application Support engineers for system and / or batch jobs recovery,
- Run System Batches under the supervision of the system engineer.
- Conformance to the established standard operation procedures.
- Covering Rotational shifts to insure IT services are working smoothly.
- **Daily Reporting**:
- Generate and distribute daily reports detailing the health and status of different jobs and batches.
- Provide insights into any recurring issues or trends observed during batch monitoring.
- **Integration Job Monitoring**:
- Ensure seamless data flow and troubleshoot any integration-related issues that may arise.
**Decision Making Authority**:
**Decision Expected**:
**Restarting or Running Certain batches based on the SOP.**
**Education and Specific Training Work Experience**
- University Graduate, preferably from Computer Science or Engineering.
- Good Analytical and problem solving Skills
- Meets Absenteeism 6% Benchmark
**Technical Skills**
- P.C. troubleshooting Skills
- Usage of MS Office (preferred)
- SQL.
**Competencies and Specific Skills**
- Good command of English
- Flexibility.
- Problem Solving
Pay: E£9,000.00 - E£12,000.00 per month
