You'll have ownership on:

- Design, development and deliver EV systems as part of the electric drivetrain team.
- Provide leadership and interface closely with Engineering Management, Engineers, Product Management, Engineering Quality, Customer Applications and other functional teams.
- Facilitate products delivery according to relevant technical standards
- Lead and manage engineering analysis, requirements identification and release of the drivetrains, power electronic components, and wiring systems according to cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Review work packages completed by the team and manage the engineering changes and releases.
- Ensure requirements, specifications, standards and legislation are available to the design team and mitigate non-conformance.
- Design and analysis of electric vehicle HV and LV power distribution networks.
- Modelling, developing, and testing power electronics systems, including the development of test and validation plans at all levels up to full vehicle
- Test and validate vehicle control strategies and communication protocols.
- Interfaces with systems engineering for integration of existing and\or new electric components.
- Provides recommendations to the engineering team for proper utilisation of High-Power Electric components.
- Participate in the sourcing process and manage engineering relationships with suppliers
- Manage design for manufacturing processes, product design process, as well as preparing and holding design reviews.

You are:

- BSc/MSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years experience.
- Deep knowledge of electrical machines, power electronics, automotive traction batteries and motors, and AC drives components.
- Experience using Solidworks, Autocadand Matlab / Simulink Simulation as well as Vehicle harness design using CATIA electric or similar tools.
- OEM/Tier 1 experience with vehicle systems/assemblies is a plus.
- Experience working with high power electric and hybrid powertrains.
- Experience of component testing and design of tests.
- Experience working in electro-mechanical product design.
- Deep understanding of electrical fundamental principles.
- Full understanding of Electric Vehicle.
- Knowledge about Battery Management Systems.
- Electric circuits design and simulations experience, as well as strong control theory knowledge.
- Electric Machines modelling and analysis experience is a plus.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
