**Responsibilities**:

- Develop high-availability design, configuration, and maintenance strategies
- Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues that may cross multiple Oracle technologies
- Capture, define and document architectural requirements
- Engineer cost effective solutions to meet business challenges
- Cloning, patching, and upgrading Oracle technologies
- Develop scripts for automation and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain documentation
- Communicate changes, problems, solutions to other technical staff
- Reports the progress of the tasks to project manager/ delivery manager.
- Mentor less experienced personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Job Technical Skills**:

- Installs, patch and administer for different versions of oracle databases and different operating systems.
- Migrate/upgrade databases between different versions and different operating systems.
- Design/implement backup strategies for different purpose of recovery (RMAN backup/restore, RMAN duplicate, data pump).
- Install/configure oracle clients for different versions and operating systems.
- Troubleshooting/monitoring the databases issues.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands
- Manage and install APEX oracle products with different versions.
- Assist with other infrastructure departments to ensure that associated hardware resources are allocated to the databases and ensures high availability and optimum performance.
- Provide root cause analysis for the incident and problems.
- Perform performance tuning.
- Run database health checks.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Oracle Golden Gate OGG issues.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Oracle Oracle Data Integrator ODI issues.
- Working in shift and on-call support.
- Occasionally, might work at customer site based on the project need.
- Migrate/upgrade databases from on premise to AWS cloud (RDS) ) (Optional).
- Managing Non-Oracle databases (MySQL, MariaDB,..., etc.). (Optional)
- Install/configure OEM. (Optional)
- Basic knowledge of the oracle RAC (Optional)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5+ years Oracle DBA experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of communicating complex technical issues and solutions effectively
- Lead and influence through teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
- BS degree or equivalent IT experience
- Oracle Certification preferred
- Linux experience preferred
