**We are looking for a talented Data Architect who will be leading the data architecture activity for Santechture. The role is reporting to the Associate Director - Data Insights.**

**What you will be doing**

Your mission will be to implement and roll out the data architecture activity with the goal of solving business needs:

- Design and implement a scalable, sturdy database schema that can be connected to multiple external systems, web interfaces for data extraction
- Oversee product roadmap and work with stakeholders to guide product vision, strategy, design, innovation, and direction
- Develop and enhance data integration pipelines through pre-processing, cleaning, validation, and loading tasks
- Conduct feasibility analyses, prioritize deliverables, propose alternative solutions, and recommend project strategies
- Build an extensive database that can extract data from various internal and external sources based on stakeholder feedback
- Evaluate data sources for integration, extract data from external sources, and identify monetizable value in business requirements from these sources
- Carry out regular security reviews related to the data being handled
- Effectively summarize and present intricate issues to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical
- Work with the Data Insights team and ensure adherence to regional initiatives and platforms

**Skills, Expertise, and Background**:

- Solid grasp of data modeling and data warehousing methodologies from structured or unstructured sources
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, as well as ETL tools
- Capability to manage intricate system interfaces/APIs and integrations between different data sources
- Relevant experience in defining and managing business requirements (end-to-end), structured analysis, process design, use case documentation, and UML process and use case development
- Self-motivated individual with a track record of successfully overseeing multiple simultaneous projects with mínimal supervision; able to manage a constantly changing priority list and resolve conflicting demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with various IT and business groups across regions, roles, and levels

**You will need**:

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring other developers in terms of processes and practices.
- Good data modelling concepts.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- In-depth knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to database management.
- Proven analytical problem solving and debugging skills.
