**key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the design of SAP IS-Retail solutions to support core business processes including inventory management, sales order processing, procurement, pricing, promotions, and store operations.
- Create high-level architecture and ensure that the solution aligns with business requirements, industry best practices, and SAP capabilities.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM, FICO, PP) and other enterprise systems.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of SAP IS-Retail modules to streamline retail operations.
- Ensure the effective integration of SAP with other systems, including POS (Point-of-Sale), eCommerce, and CRM systems.
- Guide the team on solution design, configuration, and troubleshooting during SAP IS-Retail implementation projects.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management and business users on best practices, system enhancements, and industry trends.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Oversee the delivery of SAP solution components and manage project scope, risks, and issues effectively.
- Maintain and ensure the governance of architectural standards and SAP best practices throughout the lifecycle of the solution.
- Evaluate and recommend new SAP technologies and methodologies that can drive efficiencies in retail processes.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP solution architecture with a focus on SAP IS-Retail.
- Proven experience in leading SAP IS-Retail implementations in large-scale retail environments.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes (inventory management, pricing, promotions, sales order processing, etc.).
- Expertise in SAP IS-Retail modules including (but not limited to) SAP Retail, SAP POS, SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), and SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices, design principles, and architecture guidelines.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori for UI/UX design and SAP S/4HANA for future-ready solutions.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certifications: SAP certifications in relevant areas (e.g., SAP IS-Retail, SAP S/4HANA) are a plus
- Experience with Cloud Technologies: Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform or SAP's cloud-based solutions for retail is an advantage.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform or other cloud solutions for retail is an advantage.
