**Job Title**:Senior DevOps Engineer

**Job Summary**

Specright is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Shared Services team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design and manage scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure, evaluate and provide recommendations based on best practices, and collaborate with other technical team members.

Specright offers cloud-based software (SaaS) for specification data management to Enterprise and Mid-Market level companies with complex needs. Whether it's packaging, formulas, or products, Specright helps companies reduce costs and empower efficiencies by sharing, analyzing and auditing specifications.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available service infrastructure in a cloud-based environment
- Develop and manage CI/CD processes
- Develop automation to validate security and integrity of frontend and backend services
- Collaborate effectively with technical team members to bridge stakeholder and development requirements
- Analyze existing infrastructure and processes to provide recommendations on areas of improvement
- Provide support and troubleshooting to engineers and customers for new and existing deployments
- Provide support and guidance to other DevOps engineering team members

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in designing and managing infrastructure in a cloud-based environment such as AWS
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Puppet, etc.
- Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of network architecture and design best practices
- Ability to code, test, and debug service issues at multiple levels within a stack using multiple languages and platforms

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant technical field
- Deep understanding of cross-functional AWS services and organizational cloud management
