Metal Sheet Production/estimation Engineer

We are looking for sheet metal production engineer will work in sheet metal production team remotely. The sheet metal production team is responsible for:

- Producing sheet metal products according to manufacturing orders received.
- Creating a production plan to deliver the required products within the required timelines.
- Communicating continuously and effectively with the different departments (purchasing, sales, etc.) to follow-up the implementation of the production plan and delivery within the required timelines.
- Revisions of the received drawings to determine their manufacturability.
- Communicating and resolving any issues with the technical design team.
- Monitoring and improving productivity of the workshops.
- Studying and Proposing ways to improve quality standards and manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring production follows and achieves quality standards.

**The sheet metal production engineer’s duties will be**:

- Preparing a production costing, projects estimation and cost
- Preparing a production plan according to manufacturing priorities.
- Preparing and releasing work orders to the workshops based on received manufacturing orders.
- Submitting purchasing requests in a timely manner to the purchasing department based on material needs.
- Supervising and overseeing the implementation of the production plan with workshop supervisors.
- Solving workshop problems with supervisors and overseeing the implementation of those solutions.
- Preparing and submitting periodical production reports to the plant manager.
- Preparing and submitting periodical worker evaluations.
- Assisting in preparing training needs for workshop workers.

**Job Requirements**
- Male
- Bachelor’s degree in Production/Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years works experience (Experience in similar industries is an asset)
- Proficiency in using Windows, Microsoft office suite and Autocad
- Important Characteristics and Skills: Diligence, Honesty, Ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills and ability to work independently or part of a team.

**Salary**: E£12,000.00 - E£15,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Metal Production: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
