Join us in our quest to transform learning and help individuals unleash their edge. **Key Responsibilities**: **Payroll Management**: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and company policies. **Accounts Receivable**: Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and cash flow management. Coordinate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies. **Daily Operational Tasks**: Supervise and assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. Ensure that all operations comply with company policies and financial regulations. **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, highlighting key financial metrics and variances. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. **Team Leadership**: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative, efficient work environment. **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Ensure all accounting software and systems are utilized effectively. **Compliance & Audit Support**: Ensure all accounting practices comply with legal and regulatory standards. Prepare and support audits as required, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - 6+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role prefer have experience in education companies - Strong personality and excellent communication skills; ability to confidently lead a team and engage with internal and external stakeholders. - High proficiency in accounting software "ERP System" and MS Excel. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team **MORE ABOUT SKILLSOFT**: Skillsoft delivers online learning, training, and talent solutions to help organizations **unleash their edge**.
