Responsible for defining the overall system architecture, selecting the appropriate technology stack and ensuring the system is scalable, maintainable, secure and optimized to meet priorities. Works closely with Development Team to guide technical decisions.
seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of our Health Claim Management Solution for the UAE and KSA markets. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall technical architecture of our solution, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and meets the needs of healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, data architecture, and implementation, to ensure the successful delivery of our solution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the overall technical architecture for our Health Claim Management Solution, considering both functional and non-functional requirements, such as performance, security, and scalability.
2. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
3. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for the development and deployment of our solution, including programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django).
4. Design and implement scalable and maintainable microservices architecture, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
5. Oversee the integration of various solution components, including front-end interfaces, backend services, data pipelines, and third-party APIs, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the system.
6. Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, automated testing, and code quality standards.
7. Develop and enforce security policies and practices, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as regional regulations applicable to the UAE and KSA markets.
8. Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless integration of our solution with healthcare organizations' existing systems and processes.
9. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
10. Create and maintain documentation of solution architecture, design patterns, and technical specifications, ensuring that technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the structure and organization of our solution.
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a solution architect or technical lead role, ideally within the healthcare or insurance industry.
3. Strong understanding of the healthcare claims management process and the unique technical requirements of the UAE and KSA markets.
4. Expertise in software development technologies, including programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django).
5. Experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
6. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
7. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM, is a plus.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as regional regulations applicable to the UAE and KSA markets.
